Engineering, Sourcing, and Construction
Engineering, Sourcing, and Construction
Engineering, sourcing, and construction are not three separate tasks, but a single chain of responsibility. Exsol Construction manages this chain under one roof using the turnkey (EPC) model.
The project’s design decisions, material procurement schedule, and on-site construction sequence are planned together. This eliminates the disconnect between design and implementation—and the resulting delays—that are common in traditional methods.
We conduct the procurement process in accordance with the performance criteria defined in the technical specifications. When selecting materials, we evaluate not only the unit price but also the lead time, on-site applicability, and the structure’s lifetime maintenance costs.
The on-site work schedule is revised weekly, and construction items are tracked by matching them with payment schedule items. The investor can view the physical and financial progress of the project at every stage in a single table.
Occupational health and safety is an integral part of the work schedule. Site setup, temporary facilities, and heavy equipment traffic are all addressed together when planning the construction sequence.
The greatest risk in turnkey projects is when the design is based on assumptions that do not hold true on-site. When it is discovered during the construction phase that a detail is not feasible, the cost of the solution increases exponentially in terms of both time and budget. For this reason, at Exsol Construction, the engineering team and the field team work side by side; design decisions are tested for feasibility and availability while they are still on paper. We also conduct value engineering studies at this stage—because costs are managed at the decision-making stage, not after construction has begun.
For industrial production facilities, administrative buildings, and large-scale superstructure projects, we handle every stage—from site surveys to structural and architectural design, and from rough construction to the commissioning of finish work and electromechanical systems. By taking full responsibility for the project from a single point of contact, we prevent the investor from having to bear the burden of coordination among different contractors and avoid delays caused by gaps in accountability.
